The Seed

I am Cambria Stromme, owner of True Vine Floral Design Co. My love for florals began when I started helping my Granny do floral arrangements for events growing up under her floral company called Tail Gate Florist, operating out of Battle Ground, WA. She would bring me to the Portland Flower Market to look for ideas, and pick up orders. From there I received my wholesale license and became a bit more apart of the process. I love watching her help build visions with brides and party planners to carry out plans. It was a no brainer that I wanted to ask her to do the flowers for my wedding when it came time in August of 2017. I was able to work with her, and walk around the venue giving her my vision, many phone calls and Facetime sessions later the day came and she carried out every detail, surpassing every dream I had. I wouldn't have changed a single leaf or petal that she staged that day. She has shown me, and taught me all that I know about flowers. More importantly, she's a Jesus-fearing, home grown, canning, make you cookies kind of Granny with a heart the size of a mountain, she's always willing to pick up events and meet the needs of her friends and family by providing honesty, flexibility, and support.

Our Roots

My husband Mack has a heart for breathing life into my dreams. He was the one that encouraged me to start my own floral design business. He is a graphic designer at a Riff_ here in Vancouver, and pushed me to develop this little creative hobby of mine into something much more. He is also at least a foot and a half taller than me, and I am so thankful for that detail heading into this business—especially when there hard to reach spots for me, and heavy flower buckets. I have known him since the beginning of middle school, we attended the same school and church growing up, and I've had a crush on him for majority of those years. Mack has created my logo and worked out nearly all the logistics for me being a floral designer working out of our home. I hope to have a brick and mortar shop someday here in Vancouver, but until that day or something even better ffor us comes along I know that I have his support through this learning process. Every bit that makes up my husband is creative and honest and it just overflows my heart to know that I get to be apart of his big dreams too. We both feel called to create in some capacity or another, and it’s just so fun getting to do this together.
